Abstract |
We report the rare case of a tubulonodular lipoma in the corpus callosum in a patient with preserved neurological status. A 50-yearold woman presented with headaches and multiple lumps on her back. A CT scan revealed a hypodense pericallosal mass. In
contrast, on T1 and T2 WI MR imaging, the mass was hyperintense. A stereotactic biopsy was performed and the pathological
findings were confirmed to be a lipoma of the corpus callosum. The patient was also associated with agenesis of the corpus callosum. Despite this agenesis and the mass’ large size, she was neurologically intact and had no other central nervous system
congenital malformations. |
