Abstract |
To treat the bleedings and seizures from cavernous malformations, microsurgery has been used as the primary modality. For the deep seated lesions which have great risks for microsurgery, we have treated them with radiosurgery and the long-term follow-up data are being reported. Here we review the advantages and disadvantages of radiosurgery for cavernous malformations and compare their long-term results including our own with those of microsurgery. |
