Delayed Sepsis after Spinal Cord Stimulation

Abstract
Spinal cord stimulation is very effective for intractable neuropathic pain. Adverse events was very rare. We experienced very rare delayed sepsis after spinal cord stimulation. A 56-year-male patient had fall down injury, 15years ago and paraparesis was developed. Severe both legs pain was developed and he received spinal cord stimulation. He was discharared with improved symptom. VAS was changed from 10 to 3. Postoperation 21days later, sepsis, paralytic, ileus was developed and underwent exploratory abdominal surgery. But, he was expired 2 days later.
